404 was very poor with a dull opening of 5-10% on day one across 400 locations.
The weekend belonged to Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Strangers Tides as its business was likely to be around 2 crore nett or even high higher when all its versions are included. The film’s opening was on par and even better at places than Fast & Furious 5.
Ragini MMS showed a 75-80% drop on its 8th day.

Hrithik Roshan to play triple role in Krrish 3

Producer-director Rakesh Roshan began this super hero series in 2006 with Koi Mil Gaya. The movie was followed by Krrish, and now the third instalment of the movie is Krrish 3. The senior Roshan has had a high success rate when partnering with his son, hence the expectations on the movie are high.
After the initial casting of the movie, Hrithik had insisted that he would play the villain’s role too, which his father rejected outright. Rakesh Roshan advised Hrithik that if he were to play four roles, the movie would be downplayed for relying on the amusement element rather than its content.
Rakesh Roshan then signed Vivek Oberoi as the villain. The movie is scheduled to hit screens by November, around the same time that Shahrukh’s grandiose Ra.One would grace screens. When asked whether he was disturbed with Ra.One’s release, as the movie too handled a similar super hero theme, Rakesh Roshan said he is confident of Krrish’ssuccess over Ra.One.

Asin Thottumkal, who was earlier seen opposite Salman in London London Dreams and now in Ready, is supposedly close friends wiged Salman’s friend Sajid Nadiadwala’s Housefull 2. But, seems like Asin has moved on and has no qualms about dropping one Khan for another.
“Asin is already a part of Housefull 2 and hence she often featured in the discussions about the casting for 2 States. Sajid and Asin share a comfortable relationship and the actress was excited to be a part of the film, which not only features Shah Rukh but also will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. She is currently out of town but is expected to sign the papers as soon as she lands back in city,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Buzz is that Asin has been chosen for the part because the character in the book is South Indian. The source told the tabloid, “Vidya Balan too was being considered for the role after Priyanka Chopra, since the female lead in the film is South Indian. Asin fits the bill for the same reason.” hindustan times.

The day will finish around 50-60% for the film which would be a good result for the film.
The film will earn money due to very low costs of only few crores and it remains to be seen what sort of theatrical business the film does.
THE movie is now getting good responses from the audience being a spine chilling adventurous date!
Love U… Mr. Kalakaar!, Shagird and Stanley Ka Dabba openings were very poor with 5-10% collections.

Normally ,if a movie does 50 %-60% of its weekend business in its weekdays then the trending is considered to be positive.
but haunted has done 75 % of its weekend business in its weekdays.
There is still possiblity of the movie doing 20 cr nett plus in 2 weeks which is very good.
